LGBT Health Awareness Week
LGBT Health Awareness Week - the week for the visibility of queer health - takes place every year in the last week of March. The aim of the week is to draw attention to the fact that queer people are at a much higher risk of poor physical and mental health than heterosexual and cisgender people and that they face greater discrimination in the medical and psychological fields. Every year, various online and offline campaigns are organised to draw attention to these problems.
