Nuvaring

The Nuvaring is a hormonal contraceptive for women, also known as a vaginal ring. It is a medical plastic ring that is inserted into the vagina for three weeks. The three weeks are followed by a week without the ring, during which menstrual-like bleeding begins. As with the contraceptive pill, ovulation is inhibited and thus protected against an unwanted pregnancy.
