Trans-misogyny

Trans misogyny is trans hostility that is specifically directed against trans women. It can manifest itself, for example, in TERFs excluding trans women from feminist spaces, not allowing them to use services for women such as night taxis, even though they are also at risk at night, or requiring them to dress and behave in a certain way that is not required of cis women. For example, a trans woman may not be accepted as a woman (even in feminist or queer circles) if she wears jogging bottoms and short hair, does not wear make-up or does not shave her legs, whereas this is usually considered acceptable for cis women.

In trans misogyny, trans hostility meets misogyny - in other words, misogyny or hatred of femininity and womanhood.
