Chinese

“Chinese” is a colloquial term for a sexual position in which the receiving partner lies on their back, with the legs raised or placed on the other person’s body, while the penetrating partner controls the penetration. The term is used inconsistently and is not standardized. Depending on the variation, the position can feel especially tight, controlled, and visually direct.

What matters most is practicality, consent, and comfort; the name itself says nothing about technique or safety. As with all penetrative positions, pace, depth, and movement should be adjusted to prevent pain or injury. If there is discomfort, numbness, or unusual pressure, the position should be stopped or changed immediately.
