Coprophagia
Coprophagia refers to the consumption of feces. The term is used in medicine, psychology, and veterinary science. In humans, coprophagia is not normal behavior and may indicate severe psychiatric, neurological, or medical disorders. It should not be treated as a sexual practice or minimized.
Eating feces is highly dangerous to health because it can contain pathogens, parasites, and other harmful substances. There is a significant risk of infection, especially through the mouth, mucous membranes, or open skin. If coprophagia is suspected, medical or psychotherapeutic evaluation is strongly recommended.
