Blood play / blood sports

Blood play refers to practices in which blood is intentionally involved, for example through injuries or bleeding wounds. In a BDSM context, this means highly risky and problematic activities with a significant danger of harm. They are not the same as ordinary SM play and are not suitable for beginners.

Important: blood play carries a high risk of injury, infection and the transmission of disease. Even small injuries can become serious if hygiene, experience and caution are lacking. Such practices are therefore only relevant in very rare, consciously agreed exceptional cases and should generally be approached with extreme caution, if at all, and only by very experienced people. They are clearly not recommended for beginners.
