dyadic / endosex / endogender
Dyadic, endosex, or endogender refers to people whose sex characteristics fall within the typical medical norms for male or female bodies and who do not have an intersex variation. These terms are mainly used to describe people who are not intersex. They refer to bodily characteristics, not to a person’s gender identity.
The terms are used in professional and activist contexts, but they should be applied carefully and respectfully. Not everyone identifies with these labels; depending on the context, they may be understood as descriptive and neutral or as delimiting.
