Lithsexuality

Lithsexual people experience sexual attraction to others, but do not want or need that attraction to be reciprocated. In some lithsexual people, sexual attraction even lessens or disappears once it is returned. The term belongs to the spectrum of sexual orientations and is primarily used as a self-identification.

Lithsexuality is not a conscious choice but a way of experiencing attraction. It does not say whether someone can enter relationships, allow closeness, or live out sexuality. It is important to take such experiences seriously and not to confuse them with disinterest, inability to form relationships, or rejection of intimacy.
