Teddy
A teddy is a term used especially in gay male culture for a man with strong body hair and a solid, sturdy build. Depending on the context, the term can also describe a more masculine, natural, or bear-like type. In the scene, it is often understood as an identity or attractiveness label rather than a fixed sexual role.
It is important not to reduce such labels to appearance alone. Depending on the context, the term may be used affectionately, descriptively, or even ironically. As with other community terms, the person’s own self-identification is what matters most.
