Vanilla

In sexual slang, vanilla refers to more conventional or non-kink sex without special practices, fetishes, or BDSM elements. The term is often used colloquially as the counterpart to kinky, fetish-oriented, or BDSM-heavy sex. The German term “Blümchensex” is also common and usually means a rather conventional, less experimental style of sexuality.

However, the classification is subjective: what counts as vanilla depends greatly on the people involved, their preferences, and their frame of reference. The term is therefore less a fixed category than a loose description of sexuality without pronounced special practices.
