Asian bondage play
A general term for rope-tying and bondage styles from various parts of Asia, especially known through Japanese bondage. Ropes are used artistically to bind the body, shape it or place it in a specific position. Depending on the style, bondage can be functional, aesthetic, or both.
The original description mixes different styles and contains some exaggerated claims. In practice, Japanese rope bondage is often done with special ropes, commonly jute or hemp rather than only cotton. Important factors are skill, communication, safe suspension only with proper experience, and clear agreements about limits and emergency signals.
