Breast prosthesis

A breast prosthesis is an artificial form that mimics or enhances the appearance of a breast. It can be worn externally or integrated into clothing in a special way to change or complement the silhouette.

Breast prostheses are used mainly for aesthetic, identity-related, or performance purposes, such as in drag, gender-affirming presentation, or fetish and role-play contexts. They are not a BDSM-specific risk object, but they can be part of staging in which appearance, role, and self-image are deliberately shaped.

Respectful and precise language is important: breast prostheses are aids for visual alteration and are not automatically medical devices or sexual objects. Depending on the material and application, skin compatibility, hold, and comfort should be considered. Adhesive products may cause skin irritation, so careful use is advisable.
