Cis woman

A cis woman is a person who was assigned female at birth and who identifies as a woman. The term is used to describe the alignment between assigned sex and gender identity in a precise, neutral way. It says nothing about sexual orientation, body type, or personal lifestyle.

In BDSM and sexuality contexts, the term can be useful when roles, forms of address, or identities need to be distinguished clearly. It should be used respectfully and without any pejorative connotation. What matters most is addressing each person according to their chosen self-identification.
