Frenulum Piercing
A frenulum piercing is an intimate piercing placed through the frenulum, the small band of tissue under the glans and within the foreskin area. Some people experience it as sexually stimulating, and it may be chosen for erotic or aesthetic reasons.
Because it is a piercing in a sensitive genital area, professional placement and careful aftercare are especially important. Pain, swelling, bleeding, infection, or tearing can occur, so the procedure should only be performed by experienced professionals under hygienic conditions. Sexual activity, friction, and pulling should be avoided during the healing period.
