In, out, down
“In, out, down” is a colloquial expression for very quick, usually unromantic or unelaborate sex. It often refers to brief, spontaneous intercourse without much buildup or preparation. The phrase is roughly equivalent to “quickie.”
Even when sex is spontaneous and brief, consent, protection, and consideration remain important. Anyone engaging in short sexual encounters should still agree on boundaries and pay attention to contraception and STI protection. Speed does not replace communication about limits and preferences.
