Lithromanticism
Lithromantic refers to people who experience romantic feelings for others but do not want or need those feelings to be reciprocated. For some lithromantic people, romantic feelings even fade or disappear once they are returned. The term belongs to the spectrum of romantic orientations and is mainly used for self-identification.
Lithromanticism is not a choice but a way of experiencing attraction. It does not mean that someone cannot have relationships, feel closeness, or show affection. It is important to take such experiences seriously and not confuse them with disinterest, fear of commitment, or rejection of relationships.
