Rimming
Rimming, also known as anilingus, is an oral sexual practice in which the anus and, if desired, the surrounding perineal area are stimulated with the lips and tongue. For some people, this can be pleasurable, but it should only be done with mutual consent and good hygiene.
Cleanliness and caution are important because the anal area can transmit germs. Contact with open wounds should be avoided, and when switching between practices, a dental dam may help reduce the risk of infection, though it does not eliminate it completely. If there is discomfort, pain, or irritation, the practice should be stopped immediately.
