Oral sex
Oral sex refers to sexual practices in which a person’s genitals are stimulated with the mouth, lips, and tongue. Depending on the body and situation, this may include oral stimulation of the penis, contact with the vulva or clitoris using the mouth, or other forms of oral stimulation. The term includes different forms such as fellatio and cunnilingus.
Consent, hygiene, and awareness of possible risks are important. Oral sex does not protect against sexually transmitted infections; condoms or dental dams may be useful depending on the situation. If pain, injury, throat discomfort, or uncertainty occurs, the practice should be paused or adjusted.
