Trisexual / Tri

Trisexual refers to a sexual orientation in which a person is attracted to three different genders. The term is rare and not used uniformly everywhere. Depending on the context, it may mean attraction to three clearly defined genders or to an individually understood selection within the gender spectrum.

As with all orientation terms, the person’s own self-description is what matters. Trisexual does not automatically say anything about behavior, relationship structure, or identity. The abbreviation “Tri” is sometimes used as a shorthand, but it is not widely established either.
