Aegosexual

Aegosexual, also called ageosexual or autochorissexual, describes a sexual orientation on the asexual spectrum. The term may be used by people who experience sexual arousal, sexual desire, or interest in sexual content, while feeling little or no sexual attraction toward specific other people.

Aegosexual people may enjoy sexual fantasies, erotic texts, images, films, pornography, roleplay, or solo sex without wanting sexual contact or a sexual relationship with other people. There is often an internal distance between sexual imagination and real-life participation: sexuality may be appealing in fantasy or media without creating a desire to be sexually active with another person.

Aegosexual is one of many labels within the asexual spectrum. The term describes personal experience and is not a disorder or diagnosis. As with all orientation terms, the individual decides whether “aegosexual” accurately describes their experience.
