Anal play

Anal play is an umbrella term for all sexual practices involving the anal area. These may include touching, finger stimulation, anal sex, the use of toys, stretching, or more intense practices such as fisting. Anal play can occur in BDSM, but it is not limited to BDSM. It appears in many sexual contexts.

It is important to note that the anal area is sensitive and such practices should only happen with consent, hygiene, patience and clear communication. Good preparation and plenty of lubricant are often necessary. With more intense forms, the risk of injury increases, so care and attentiveness are essential. Anal play is not automatically part of any one sexual orientation, but rather a practice that some people enjoy and others do not.
