“Arabic” is a colloquial term for sex from behind, usually referring to a position where one person kneels or bends forward and the other penetrates from behind. Depending on the context, the term can mean different things and is not always precise.

The older description about dipping the penis in warm water or oil before penetration is not a technical definition and should not be taken as a general rule. For any form of penetration, sufficient arousal, lubricant, slow progression and mutual consent are important. With anal penetration, extra precautions are necessary because the risk of injury and infection is higher.
