Paroromantic

Paroromanticism is a romantic orientation. People may describe themselves as paroromantic if they can experience romantic attraction to people of multiple genders, but experience that attraction differently depending on the other person’s gender.

These differences may involve intensity, frequency, emotional quality, relationship desires, or the way falling in love is experienced. A paroromantic person can therefore be romantically attracted to multiple genders, while not experiencing that attraction as the same across all genders.

The term describes romantic attraction and does not automatically indicate anything about sexual attraction. As with all orientation labels, the exact personal use may vary; what matters is how the individual defines the term for themselves.
