Female romantic attraction

Female romantic attraction, also called femmeromantic or gyneromantic, refers to romantic attraction toward women or toward people who identify or present as feminine. The term is mainly used in queer language to describe romantic orientation more precisely without specifying the gender of the person experiencing the attraction. Depending on context, it may also include non-binary people when the orientation is directed toward femininely read or femininely identified individuals.

The term describes romantic orientation and should not be confused with sexual attraction. It can be especially useful for non-binary people who want to express their romantic attraction in a more differentiated way. As with all identity terms, its exact use may vary by person and community.
