Hentai

Hentai refers to pornographic anime or manga content, meaning Japanese animated or comic depictions with sexual themes. Outside Japan, the term is often used more generally for erotic or explicit animated content, while in Japanese usage it is broader and can also mean “perverse” or “deviant.”

Hentai is primarily a media and genre term, not a BDSM-specific expression. As with other pornographic content, depictions should not be confused with reality or treated as instructions.
