Male Body
In everyday language, a male body usually means a body that is typically associated with male sex characteristics. These may include a penis, testes, prostate, facial hair, or a certain pattern of body hair. From a technical and inclusive perspective, however, it is important to distinguish physical traits from gender identity.
Not all people with testes or a penis are men, and not all men have these traits. It is therefore more accurate to speak of bodily characteristics rather than labeling them generally as “male sex characteristics.” In an inclusive context, this can refer to the bodies of cis men, trans men, and some intersex people, depending on how they identify themselves.
