Pomosexuality

Pomosexuality is a rarely used self-description for people who do not fit into, or do not wish to fit into, the common categories of sexual orientation. The term can also include people who deliberately challenge or reject conventions and norms of sexual orientation. It is not clearly standardized and may be used differently depending on context.

Pomosexuality should be understood as an individual and often intentionally non-normative description rather than as a strictly defined orientation group. The term says more about a person’s relationship to categories and norms than about a specific pattern of sexual attraction.
