Spectraromantic
Spectraromantic describes a romantic orientation in which a person may feel romantic attraction to people whose gender or gender identity is understood as part of a gender spectrum. It refers to romantic or emotional attraction, not necessarily sexual attraction.
The term is still relatively uncommon and may be understood differently by different people. It often describes attraction to multiple genders, but not necessarily to all genders, for example to women and non-binary people or to people with various non-binary identities.
Spectraromantic may overlap with terms such as biromantic, polyromantic, or panromantic. The most appropriate label is a matter of personal self-identification; it is important to respect a person’s chosen description and boundaries.
