Wet dreams
Wet dreams are involuntary sexual arousal responses during sleep, often accompanied by ejaculation. They can occur especially in boys and men after puberty, but they are not limited to this group. A wet dream, medically called a nocturnal emission or pollution, happens without conscious control and without active sexual behavior.
Wet dreams are a normal bodily process and usually nothing to worry about. They may occur in connection with sexual development, prolonged arousal, or even without a remembered dream. If there are concerns, pain, or unusually frequent symptoms, medical advice is sensible, but in general wet dreams are harmless.
