Taboo
In BDSM, taboo refers to practices, topics, body areas, or actions that a person explicitly rejects. Taboos are individual and can differ from person to person. Not only bottoms, but also tops or dominant people can have taboos.
Before a scene begins, everyone involved should openly discuss their taboos, wishes, and limits. These agreements are binding and must be respected. If taboos are violated without prior consent, this is a serious breach of trust and may also have legal consequences depending on the situation. The claim that someone is “taboo-free” is usually misleading, because every person has boundaries. Provocations or exaggerated suggestions, especially in online contexts, are not a reliable basis for real consent and should not be taken as an invitation.
