Ambiromantic
Ambiromantic describes a romantic orientation or self-description for people who experience romantic attraction to androgynous people. This may refer to people whose appearance, presentation, gender expression, or self-description is not perceived as exclusively male or exclusively female.
The term refers to romantic attraction and does not say anything about whether or toward whom a person experiences sexual attraction. Ambiromantic may also be understood differently by different people, for example as attraction to androgynous gender presentation, to non-binary people, or to people who combine masculine and feminine traits.
Because the term is not used uniformly everywhere, it can be helpful to ask how a person understands it for themselves when relevant. As with all orientation terms, the individual decides whether “ambiromantic” accurately describes their experience.
