Autosexual

Autosexual refers to a sexual orientation or self-description in which a person feels sexual attraction mainly or also toward themselves. This may mean that they experience their own body, their appearance, fantasies about themselves, or sexual acts with themselves as especially arousing.

Autosexuality is not the same as masturbation. Many people masturbate without being autosexual; conversely, an autosexual person may also feel sexual or romantic attraction to other people. Autosexuality therefore does not simply describe a practice, but a form of sexual attraction or sexual self-perception.

The term is used primarily as a self-description. As with other sexual orientations, whether and how someone names their sexuality is up to that person and should not be imposed or judged from the outside.
