Autosexuality

Autosexuality describes a situation in which a person’s sexual attraction or arousal is directed primarily towards themselves. This can mean that someone finds themselves especially attractive or is primarily sexually drawn to their own person. The term is not just another word for masturbation.

It is important to distinguish between the two: autosexuality describes a form of self-directed sexual attraction or perception, while masturbation is an act. The terms can be related, but they do not mean the same thing. For some people, autosexuality may be part of their sexual identity; for others, it may simply be a descriptive term.
