Bigender

Bigender describes a person who has two gender identities. These are often male and female, but other combinations are also possible, for example male and non-binary or female and non-binary. The two identities may be experienced at the same time or alternate over time.

Bigender is a gender identity and is not the same as a person’s body. The exact way someone describes themselves can differ from person to person. It is important to respect the term a person uses and not make assumptions about appearance or behaviour.
