Clinical erotica, also called medical play, clinic play, white BDSM, or doctor play, refers to sexual or erotic role play with a medical theme. The focus is often on scenes inspired by examinations, treatment, or a stay in a practice or clinic, usually as a doctor-and-patient roleplay. The emphasis is typically on power dynamics, care, control, or the play with taboos.

If clinical-themed actions go beyond pure roleplay, special caution is required. Medical-like practices such as enemas, injections, or examinations should not be performed without solid knowledge, hygiene standards, and clear consent; many procedures belong in professional hands only.
