Fluid

“Fluid” can be used as a suffix in relation to gender identities and sexual orientations to express that an identity or orientation is not fixed, but can change over time. The term describes change, transition, or variability and is generally intended as a self-description.

Examples include genderfluid, for a person whose gender identity may shift or present differently over time, and acefluid, for a person whose position within the asexual spectrum is not constant. Such terms help describe personal experiences in a nuanced way without forcing them into a rigid category.
