Polyamory

Polyamory refers to the possibility of having more than one loving and/or romantic relationship at the same time, with everyone involved being informed and freely consenting to the arrangement. Transparency, consent, and the deliberate shaping of relationships are central. Polyamory is not the same as infidelity, because openness and mutual agreement are essential components.

Polyamorous relationships can include romantic, sexual, or both types of connection and can be structured in very different ways. Clear communication, agreements about boundaries and needs, and respectful treatment of one another are crucial. As in all relationships, there is no single correct form—only a model that works for the people involved and is based on consent.
