Monoamorousness
Monoamorousness refers to the preference for or practice of having romantic or sexual bonds with only one person at a time. The term is usually used in contrast to polyamory. It describes a one-partner relationship style, not automatically a moral judgment or a statement about fidelity.
Linguistically, “monoamorous” and “monoamorousness” are less common in English than terms like monogamous, monoromantic, or monoamorous. In everyday use, these words are not always distinguished clearly, so context matters.
