Slave Box
A slave box, also called a black box, is a box made of wood or metal in which a person can be enclosed in a fixed position. It is designed so that the person inside cannot change posture, or can do so only to a very limited extent. Apart from openings for air, such a box is usually opaque and lightproof; depending on the design, it may have additional openings for specific parts of the body.
Slave boxes are among the particularly risky BDSM practices. Restricted movement, heat buildup, circulatory strain, pressure injuries, and breathing problems can quickly become dangerous. Such devices should only be used with very precise knowledge, constant monitoring, clear consent, and an immediate way to stop the scene. Use with a camera or public display is only acceptable with the explicit consent of everyone involved; without it, this is not permissible and can seriously violate privacy and trust.
