Spectrasexual

Spectrasexual describes a sexual orientation in which a person may feel sexual or physical attraction to people whose gender or gender identity is understood as part of a gender spectrum. It refers to sexual attraction; romantic attraction may align with it, but does not have to.

The term is still relatively uncommon and may be understood differently by different people. It often describes attraction to multiple genders, but not necessarily to all genders, for example to women and non-binary people or to people with various non-binary identities.

Spectrasexual may overlap with terms such as bisexual, polysexual, or pansexual. The most appropriate label is a matter of personal self-identification; it is important to respect a person’s chosen description, boundaries, and consent.
