Zentai

Zentai is a very tight-fitting full-body suit originating in Japan that usually covers the body completely and, depending on the design, may also include the head, hands, and feet. In fetish and costume contexts, the term is used for suits made of elastic materials such as Lycra, spandex, or similar fabrics; latex versions also exist. Zentai roughly means “full-body suit” or “full-body clothing.”

In fetish and BDSM contexts, Zentai is worn for various reasons, such as the sensation of the material, complete concealment, or the special perception of touch through the fabric. It is important to distinguish it clearly from catsuits, which usually do not cover the head. With very tight or breathing-restrictive designs, adequate mobility, visibility, temperature balance, and safety should be ensured.
