Drag King

A drag king performs masculinity, often in an exaggerated or stylized way, as part of a show, performance, or similar format. Clothing, gestures, voice, and presentation are often used artistically or satirically to explore gender roles. Drag kings are often, but not exclusively, women; however, the art form should not be equated with gender identity.

Drag is a performative form of expression and is not the same as being transgender. Drag kings should therefore not be confused with trans men. The key is to refer to each person in the way they describe themselves.
