FemDom

FemDom stands for Female Domination and refers to female-dominant behavior or a female-dominant role in BDSM contexts. A FemDom takes the actively leading, controlling, or disciplining position toward a submissive person. The term can refer to a single play session as well as to a longer-term dynamic.

It is important not to reduce FemDom to stereotypes: dominance can be playful, relationship-based, sexual, or ritualized. How far the power and role arrangement extends is a matter of agreement. Professional domination services also exist, but they too require clear boundaries, consent, and responsible conduct.
