Guydyke

A guydyke is a person who identifies as both male and lesbian. The term is mainly used in the context of identity, gender, and sexuality, and describes a self-designation in which male self-understanding and lesbian belonging are combined.

Guydyke is a specific, partly subcultural identity label and is not used or understood in the same way by everyone. Some guydykes also experience their identity in connection with being trans or with transfeminine self-understandings. It is important to respect the person’s own definition and not make blanket assumptions about gender, body, or sexuality.
