Nonbinaryflux

Nonbinaryflux combines “nonbinary” and “flux” and refers to a gender identity within the non-binary spectrum. People may describe themselves as nonbinaryflux if their gender is outside a strictly binary classification of man and woman, and if the intensity of their gender experience changes over time.

This means that a person may experience their non-binary gender very strongly at times, more weakly at other times, or almost not at all. The exact experience varies from person to person: some experience fluctuations within a specific non-binary identity, while others describe shifting closeness to terms such as agender, demigender, genderqueer, or other non-binary labels.

Nonbinaryflux describes a personal experience of gender and is not a medical diagnosis. As with all gender identities, the person’s self-description, name, and pronouns should be respected.
