TENS
TENS is the abbreviation for transcutaneous electrical nerve stimulation. It works by delivering electrical impulses to the body through electrodes placed on the skin. In medicine, TENS is used to relieve pain; in BDSM contexts, it may also be used as a form of electrical stimulation.
This practice should be approached with great caution and informed knowledge. People with pacemakers, implanted medical devices, cardiovascular conditions, epilepsy, or other health risks should not use TENS without medical advice. Only suitable, certified devices should be used, and the electrodes must not be placed near the heart, neck, or other sensitive areas. Stop immediately if pain, skin irritation, or circulatory problems occur.
